Is there latancy / slowness problems with MS Word on a remote desktop connection or via a network known?
Show me all the problems with Microsoft Word, which can lead to delays / latancy in a remote desktop connection. MKD any products or fixes would be great. If not, article or information carefully, like Microsoft Word does (internal operations, not just the basics), especially over a dial-up connection would utile.Qu that’s what I proposed that a remote desktop connection, there are pockets of slow where the word commit up to 40 seconds to an action (such as backspacing or typing errors) can. The material used is a thin client into a remote server on which the software is installed. All information is on the serveur.D other attempts to collect this information was not satisfactory saved. Thanks in advance for any aide.Ce is not a desktop PC. These work with Wyse thin clients 3150 through Remote Desktop connections. Network speed is fine for all other connections. Problem occurs only with Microsoft Word, but I am concerned that there parameters to be optimized in order to make better words have to be on a CDR or réseau.Réponse

Only a thought, but have you looked at the desktop for the slowness when he runs out of system resources, then it will slow down, and everything else with it …. You can also: from the remote PC, the establishment of a permanent ping your IP address (ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx-t), to see if your network is slow …..
You can definitely tweak some settings.. Turn off background grammar and spell checking (setting within word). Also, Disable the blinking cursor in Word. These both are know to cause issues. How do you have your terminal server defined for performance? Make sure it set for “Background Services” and Memory is set for Programs, instead of system cache. I would also tweak the RDP setting in the Control Panel (of the Thin Client) — turn off all of the settings. Set the thin client to not bring sound to this device. Uncheck the option to allow your printer to connect as well.. This should help you.
