HP 6210 Printer problem! Ink cartridges, does it really need both the color and black cartridges in there?
1Question : HP 6210 Printer problem! Ink cartridges, does it really need both the color and black cartridges in there?
This printer has two slots, one for the color cartridge and one for the black ink.
So I need to print something in BLACK INK only and apparently, the color ink cartridge ran out, so now it won’t let me print out ANYTHING. Is there a solution to this so I can print out my stuff? Or do I really need to go buy a new color cartridge to make my printer work?

When you print, don’t choose the default printer option. When you print, the print screen pops up. Don’t hit PRINT. Select PROPERTIES. Under PROPERTIES, there should be a choice for GRAYSCALE PRINTING. It works for my printer when I want to avoid the clr cartridge (especially if it is out). Since my printer is different from yours, the procedure maybe slightly different so you may have to play around until you find the GRAYSCALE PRINTING option. Hope this helps.

7Question : Why do you need both a cable modem AND a router for wireless internet?
Why is a cable modem alone good enough for a wired connection, but for wireless you have to get a cable modem AND a wireless router? Isn’t there a cable modem that will give you wireless internet by itself?

1.875 hours
—————————————————————
To arrive at the above answer, you could use this formula…
1 / (A’s time) + 1 / (B’s time) = 1 / (Total time for A and B)
1 / 3 + 1 / 5 = 1 / T
Get a common denominator, so you can add these fractions…
5 / 15 + 3 / 15 = 1/ T
8 / 15 = 1 / T
Cross-multiply, and you get…
8T = 15
T = 15 / 8 (or 1.875) hours
Hope this helps!

No. Only special three-color cartridges print in color. They usually have something indicating that, such as the word “Color” or “Colour” or three overlapping COLORED circles.
Sorry.
What tv method is less expensive, the dish or cable. What are all the aspects of both.?
0Question : What tv method is less expensive, the dish or cable. What are all the aspects of both.?
Should I change from cable to the dish? Which is least expensive and what are the charges in ordering a dish?
dish cable

The answer really depends on how much programming you want and use.
You can get a basic basic cable account that will always be cheaper than dish, but you’ll only have about 8 channels.
If you like lots of channels, you can get a good deal with a dish. Companies are trying hard to get new customers right now, so you can probably get a deal where all the equipment and installation is free (after rebates).
You really have to look at how much programming you want and compare the cable company’s price to what a dish account would cost. Also keep in mind that local channels are usually extra.
making use of both a Virgin Media (Cable) and BT (ADSL) broadband connection at the same time?
2Question : making use of both a Virgin Media (Cable) and BT (ADSL) broadband connection at the same time?
I have a Virgin Media cable connection that has been providing a broadband connection to my home network of 6 PCs. I have recently added a BT ADSL connection that also could provide the broadband connection via a BT Home Hub. I would like to use both WAN connections and load balance them.
A number of designs have been proposed, but all require either detailed configuration of the routing tables (under Windows XP) on each PC or configuration of teh tables on each of the routers (Belkin and Home Hub).
A dual WAN router has also been suggested. It is not clear to me how this would be configured. Do I take a LAN connection of the Belkin router to the WAN port on the Dual Wan router? Will this also work with the Home Hub? I don’t want to use the WiFi capabilities available on each of the existing routers.
Correction … I don’t want to LOOSE the WiFi capabilities of each of the existing routers.

You connect the cable network bridge and the DSL network bridge directly to the dual WAN router. Then you could run either or both of your other wireless routers from the numbered ports of the dual wan router.

While thy have many similarities, Opterons are designed for use in workstation and server environments, requiring the use of registered ECC memory, while the Athlons are designed for general purpose PCs and use less expensive non-ECC memory.
digital cable vs satellite pros and cons about both help please?
3Question : digital cable vs satellite pros and cons about both help please?
cable vs satellite

Digital cable – no rain or snow storm outages, no sun outages, no unsightly dish.
Dish – goes out whenever a big cloud goes over, or when it rains, or snows hard, or the snow builds up on the dish, certain times of year the sun is directly behind the satellite and it goes out, dish sticking up on your house or in your yard, unbelieveably expensive.
How can I hook up both coax cables, one from the digital cable box and one from the VCR all tied together?
2Question : How can I hook up both coax cables, one from the digital cable box and one from the VCR all tied together?
I use to have a box that you could switch from one output to another but can’t remember what it’s called. I just want to hook my digital cable box and my VCR to the same TV (both via coax cables) but not have to unscrew one and screw the other one in every time.. Would a 2-way work or is there something else?

Can’t you just connect the cable box to VCR and VCR to the TV? Many VCR’s have input and output on them. If that is not an option you are looking for something like this:
