Question : What’s with the “cash cow” ink cartridges? I can buy a brand new printer for less than black and color inks! I opted to buy the new printer!! What to do with the old one? No one even wants it for free because of the price of ink cartridges. Even reconditioned ones with shipping are expensive. There’s maybe a bucks worth of ink in them. Question : My hp laserjet P1505 has a brand new toner, but prints without any ink? My printer has a new cartridge of ink but still prints without any ink! Any idea what may be going on? I am asking the community as well as doing some googling right now. laserjet toner

Answer by Ian SDid you pull of the sealing strip off / out of the toner cart.
Theres usually a tab or strip that seals the toner for shipping, you have to remove this before you install it.
