In short, the answer is probably yes, you could, but only for printing. You would lose the scanning and other abilities.
You need a printer server that’s designed for multifunction devices.
I ran into this problem myself, and ended up solving it best by just getting a long USB cable.

But after signing in, the desktop was not configured like it normally looks on xp workstations in the office, and none of my icons are there. Question : Would it be possible to get a TV signal from my cable internet coax cable connected to cable modem? I use Cable internet. If I have a TV tuner for my computer, can I use the same coax cable I use for my internet, and use a splitter to split the cable into two, and use it also for my TV Tuner card?
My cable internet provider is also my cable internet provider. coax cable

I know of the “show cdp neighbor” command in cisco that shows information of the active switches/routers connected to the switch i’m trying to monitor thru console, but is there any other command or way i can determine a computer workstation’s info or just a MAC address perhaps which is connected to the switch i’m monitoring thru console?
by the way i use Cisco 2950, 2960, 2960G, 3750 switches in our workplace. cisco 3750

Answer by charlieit is just one switch or the whole system? I would start my trouble shooting with the nearest switch to both ends by isolating them one at a time and work towards the middle but only after I had checked the cable ends and cables for continuity

I also have a regular computer that is connected to the internet using a DSL cable and an ethernet cable.
