What clock speed for quad core processor?
2Question : What clock speed for quad core processor? I am going to buy a new laptop soon and intend on getting a quad core processor, but there are three different types available: 1) 2 Ghz, 2) 2.26 Ghz, 3) 2.53 Ghz. Obviously the higher clock speed would be better, but it’s $ 750.00 more than the 2 Ghz. Is that .53 Ghz really worth nearly a grand more? I will be using this laptop for music, gaming, movies, general paper work, net surfing, etc… Thanks! quad core processor

2Question : upgrading a dual core laptop to a quad core? i have a hp pavilion dv6-2088dx laptop, it’s a 2.2ghz amd turion dual core, 8gigs of ram, and 500gig hard drive. i love my laptop and don’t want to get rid of it, but i’m really interested in the quad cores. is there any way to upgrade the laptop i have from a dual core to a quad core? i know there’d be a lot to it, and i’d probably get it done professionally, but i’m very curious if it’s possible to do it. and what all would it involve if it can be done? thanks! quad core laptop
