4Question : What is the best antivirus and firewall software currently available?
I am reformatting my system and want a new A/V firewall than what i had last. My previous one was Live OneCare, and before that i had Bitdefender 9. Help anybody?
Or are those two some of the best.

I think that’d be pretty nice. :) I’m not sure if it’d be possible/desirable, though, since it’s probably like a heart rate monitor (for exercising) and has a slight chance of interfering with another and messing them all up if you get close enough or whatever. I was just curious, and kind of hoping that there is a wireless one instead of having to have two bazillion catchy wires and this clanky bulky box thing…

Telemetry in hospitals where they monitor the the patient’s heart is wireless and it would be a simple matter of increasing the strength of the signal for greater distances. They monitor astronaut’s hearts in space continuously.

I have done some research online & saw this “Beauty Salon Software” which meets my needs but felt its too EX (US $ 999).. Somemore its not based in Singapore so scared if there’s any issue i wouldn’t be able to settle right away. (Although website put 24/7 support but only thru email.. That makes me feel turn off) So hope i can find the ans here, even if i’ve to buy the software its fine but just hope that there’s some local support for it. Thanks to all in advance!
*In view of tankahn’s ans i think i need to clarify something, i own a Beauty Salon doing facial, face & body treatment, slimming.. etc & system is a MUST right now as my customer base is getting bigger. The metohd i’m using to record customer database right now is thru hand written & soon will not be able to handle future growing new customers population*

Save your money. Hair salons are probably the last place for computerization. It cannot lower your costs or increase your sales as yours is a relationship business.

better try to use ms access which is easiest of all databases and note that you may also write queries in it.If you are looking for software there then try Database Editor 2009 v0.1.4.4 ,Databrid 1.5 designed for novice………………

I assume you mean Medical Termininology. You will need a degree in something. Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Pharmacy, etc. These are degreed programs, some are two years (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, RN with an associate degree). Start talking with an accredited college and forge ahead!!!
Can I install an Intel Processor in a computer that currently has an AMD Processor in it?

2I’m happy about my laptop memory upgrade and now it is 512 MB 333 MHz DDR memory sytem (2 DIMM) 2048MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHZ for one SODIMM memory, and wonder if it will fit in the laptop, and if it is compatible with thinking. Plus its only 32nd 99 after rebate!
