Question : Can I use an ethernet switch in an office network environment? In a conference room, there is one ethernet wallplug. Three laptops need to be connected in the network/internet. Can I use an ethernet switch to share that one ethernet wired connection? Will that have any negative impact on the office’s network/server?
(Having a wireless router is not an option right now).
