A new toner cost almost as much as a printer itself. Also, I have three refill bottles that I bought earlier for my old HP LaserJet 2100 printer. My first question is if there is a way I can make use of those. The second issue is related to something called killer chip. I found out from internet that most of the new printer comes up with a chip that counts the number of copies printed by a toner and does not let you print anymore even the printer is refilled. The only option left is then buying a new printer.
Can someone give me idea if I can find a printer which does not include such a chip.
