Question : Why does my Brother toner cartridge have a sticker that says “Removal of this sticker may void warranty?”? It’s on the right side. What is it covering or hiding?
I heard there is a sensor on these cartridges that shuts down the printer when the toner is low, but before the toner cartridge is actually out of toner. The printer is supposed to work again if you cover the sensor with electrical tape. It doesn’t seem that tape would be placed over a sensor, but could that be it? I removed it.
