Question : is there an alternative option for wiring an ethernet cable up two flights of stairs (besides wifi)? my modem and router are on the first floor of my house and my computer is on the third. i cant wire an ethernet cable up the stairs cause that looks tacky and my parents wont let me. im currently using wifi but its really slow and id really like to somehow hook it up to an ethernet cable. i cant move the router or modem cause we have a network printer down there. any suggestions? ethernet wiring

Answer by ghostman256Network Interface card is a Nic Card or ethernet card or lan card.. same thing different word… you need a lan card to set up your router, but your computer will have it if it has wifi.
